Someone with generations of wealth would consider four years of tuition at a state university as a minor inconvenience. Also, someone headed to medical or law school would presumably have stats to get a full ride at a variety of places…making their decision as to where to attend based on prestige and reputation of the undergrad institution…and let’s face it…they will certainly have offers from schools that far outrank UA in that category. Your Alabama is showing.
