Extremely common among all of the houses. Also for seniors, nursing clinicals, student teaching, etc. come into play. Some start part time internships. It sucks to have to choose but for lots of girls with graduation on the horizon the choice to focus on work/school vs sorority is easy. You can apply to go early Alumna status so it’s not the same as dropping out of a chapter. You’re still a lifelong member.
