Most everyone has the parents/scholarships pay for the majority of it. Some girls are very well off, other aren't but make it work. I knew the exact dollar amount I had to work with for all 4 years of college. (one of four daughters). It's a huge reason why I chose Alabama. I lived in one of the cheaper dorms freshman year and lived in one of the cheapest apartments for 2 year and then found a cheap studio for my senior year. Also I had a nice but older car. Literally no one ever judged me for where I lived and what I drove. They covered all my major expenses like rent, phone, insurance and dues. I worked during the summer, on breaks and a few random weekends a semester and had more than enough for everything extra. It's very doable but always had to keep a budget in mind.
