There are about 400 girls in each house. More girls in a house than the total in many high schools. No matter the house, you are going to have a core group of friends - maybe five to ten. An extended group - maybe 25 or so. And there will be people in your pledge class (about 135 girls) you don’t even know their name come second semester. When it comes to the entire house of 400 there will be plenty of girls you dont know. True in every house. I don’t care which house - there is going to be “drama” between groups - drops from group texts; a limited number of friend groups that control executive, social media, events, etc, some groups who the rules don’t apply to , and some groups that won’t speak to one another… In some houses the result is more quiet, even seething, less “loud”, more girls who tend to “suck-it-up” or don’t care and others with more “type a” who want to “make a point”, or fake-it with a good facade, but that doesn’t mean the tension and emotions of 400 girls living, eating, organizing and dating is not there. Obviously, it’s not all negative - more positive than negative for sure. But there is no avoiding the realities (in any house) of group dynamics. \n\n\n\n\n
