Is being in a new row/old row fraternity pretty much necessary to have a good social life here in bama as a guy (that isn't a student athlete)? This is what my friend at Bama tells me who is in an IFC fraternity here. Being in a IFC fraternity with a decent reputation in Bama is one of the only way to make good male friends and meet good looking girls (most of whom are in sororities or used to be in sororities) as a guy in Bama. if youre a regular geed (no matter how handsome you are) or in some irrelevant organization youll get stuck with weird people and most geed parties are sausage fests with no good looking girls and if there are girls its usually chubby weird girls. Exception to this is bama student athletes like football players and they have pretty good social lives and social status on campus from what i heard. alright thats pretty much what he said to me. is that true?
