I'm a mom

Ok, I'm an actual mom and have a questions about the fraternities. My son will be a freshman next year and will be coming from out of state (Chicago). I have a daughter that is a junior in a sorority at another SEC school and she has had a very good experience in her house. My son would like to join a fraternity but I'm really worried about drinking related potential hazing. The news is covering a story of pledge that has been paralyzed and blinded because he was forced to drink an entire bottle of vodka during hazing at the U of Missouri. I'm terrified. My daughter has confirmed that those things (over-the-top drinking related hazing) happens on her campus but not all frats do that. If my son was attending her school, she'd be able to give him some guidance. My son is smart, an athlete, etc. and would do what it took to be initiated just like he has done with coaches and in sports in the past so I really worry about it. What frats should be avoided for this reason?
