The comments on this post are spot on. With the number of PNM’s increasing every year, OOR PNM’s are going to have an even more difficult time getting bids from traditional OR houses (that are still top choices for Southern girls) because the Southern PNMs will use their high school and other connections to get into those houses. Many of the OR houses are high school 2.0 for Southern girls from certain area codes. However, with more OOR attending Bama each year, the preference for OR is starting to diminish and many OOR PNMs are not going to like the OR houses during recruitment. As a result, NR houses are rising in interest. It’s a fact. OR HATES this new reality at Bama and will continue to post on GR about how much better OR is. It’s all hilarious and out of touch with what is happening to the demographics of the campus.
