Just look up your legacy sorority's national policy. If they no longer require the courtesies then that's your answer; no required invitation, no first bid list at pref. Legacies have been a roadblock to the process for years and those first round courtesy invitations caused problems, so the sororities that no longer have to adhere to them are glad they are gone. But all you need to know is the one or ones that apply to your situation. And no, your cousin doesn't give you legacy, so learn what legacy is for a particular sorority in the first place because they are all different.
