A bit of both. Upperclassmen have a separate quota so they are not competing with freshmen, but they still go to all the rounds together so still need to try to stand out among them. Also, sophomores are evaluated on their college GPA and experience, and who they know and hang out with in Greek life, so that could be plus or minus for a pnm. Each house is looking for their type, so that's still in play and won't change for a sophomore, so the options are still basically the same.
