Well, Ms. Snark, I used the term "mysterious" because come bid day, this site will be flooded with girls wanting to know if they are going to get a snap bid to the houses that cut them earlier. And yes, I totally understand how snap bids work, but the post I was responding to discussed girls who got NO pref invites (...and discussed COB, which we all knows come AFTER bids are signed). For anyone actually trying to understand the craziness, snap bids are given after the house recieves its bid acceptance list. Usually just recruitment chair and exec know who are the girls who get snaps. Again, this is something PNM's have no control over at all (versus COB recruitment, when they can choose who to contact, accept invites from, etc.)
