Getting yourself purposely cut from houses you don't want has zero effect on the houses you do want asking you back. That's what your own rankings of the houses are for. Each sorority decides if they want to ask you back, and if you are lucky enough to have a choice in where you return, the algorithm will use your rankings to give you as close to what you want as possible, within what's available to you. To actively try to 'get rid of houses' gives you a much better chance of being shut out of sorority membership.
