1. There are way more girls who want to live in house than spots. Different houses do prioritize differently. 2. Being on eBoard will most likely always get you a spot 3. My parents were the same way! staying out of trouble, making great grades and proving to them that I would have to room with strangers instead of ANY of my friends pushed them. (Also it can be much cheaper to live of campus)
