They can afford the same "luxuries" as other houses. The university, NPC and each sorority decided the order of remodel. AOPi's house is the second most expensive house on the row. Your argument also falls short because Chi-O did not get a remodel, and they are still considered a "top" sorority. When a sorority is attempting to pledge 120-130 girls a year, there is NO WAY the group of girls will be cohesive, which is what your underlying argument is saying AOPi does. KD has various types of girls. Kappa has various types of girls. Tridelt has really random girls - and they are all still considered a "top" tier sorority. Just like all NPC groups, AOPi is made up of smart girls, artistic girls, party girls, church girls, shy girls, and fun girls and they meet and hangout in a beautiful house... just like every other sorority at Alabama.
