If your point is then “ranks don’t matter because you can say the same things about them all” - well that’s your opinion. The OP asked why those that rank put them “top” - and my point would be because many want to be part of them and many want to be around them. And, like it or not, that’s not as true of all houses. Yes agree, they have their detractors and haters - but can’t deny their pull!
