Hard lesson: Grades are typically considered as an evaluation piece for almost any college affiliated activities, be it admissions, scholarships, or our competitive sororities (where the university prints sorority grade report rankings every semester). Certainly your daughter should go through recruitment, bur definitely with here yes wide open that her choices may be limited. She will be cut from some groups right away, she may be cut by all groups. Importantly, she needs to know she was most likely cut from sororities impersonal lists put in a grade-impacted order. It is not her personally. If she knows she has a limited shot, then her disappointment can be minimized. All she needs is one sorority to like her and decide to take a grade risk. All sororities offer great programs. Good Luck to her!
