Just wanted to come on here and say being in a sorority was one of the worst thing that I’ve ever done in my life. You sign your individuality and life away to a cult - ESPECIALLY sororities. Fraternities are a lot different and not as fake or hypocritical. It’s ironic that sororities who are so against conversations or pics/videos of drinking/boys/partying are the ones who do it the MOST. As if the whole world doesn’t already know the only thing most sororities do (not all, but many) 24/7 is 🍃,❄️,🍾,and 👉👌. Sororities use anything and everything against you. If you have a gut feeling that this isn’t for you, please don’t be pressured to join. If you are a decent human and can socialize, you will make friends just fine without Greek life, and you can still go to the frat parties. I’m not saying that every sorority girl is bad, but most upper/top tier houses are the most artificial it gets. Wherever you end up, please make sure this is truly what you want and you are willing to give up social media freedom and overall individuality.
