Girls who are dropped before Pref often get snap bids from weaker recruiting chapters. Chapters that didn’t make quota can snap. You would never know if a girl received her bid via snap unless you knew she didn’t attend pref round. But would she accept a bid from those houses? Doesn’t seem likely. And that is the problem with formal recruitment. Girls think they are too good for certain chapters. Happens every year.
