I’m an alumna from Pi phi in Ontario, Canada and bamarushtok has reminded me that my experience was wayyy different than southern schools. How does big/little paring work when there are hundreds of girls in a chapter. In my chapter, different second year/sophomores would take out members of the new member class on cute little dates (going out to eat, going shopping etc.). Then the bigs and littles rank each other and an exec member does the pairings. I can’t imagine how that would scale up. Is your big usually your bid day buddy/the person who preffed you?
