And a lot of it is you are feeling rejection- but there is a house who wants to get to know you. Tent talk is stupid- after recruitment you may see things with clear eyes/heart. Every chapter has wonderful traditions— there may be more opportunities for leadership in a newer house. A lot of actives accepted bids from a house they were unsure of and grew to love the sisters.
