To be clear. They are not cutting 1000 girls. Quota is not set until AFTER preference. Quota is determined by the number of girls who attend divided by the number of chapters. You are guaranteed a bid if you are willing to accept a bid to any sorority you attend preference at. Even if you only have one invitation (pref is significantly less stressful if you are only invited to one house. lol. )
