Rush vs Reality

KD puts on a great rush for the girls they want. Best placement, last to leave, tons of energy and attention. Then you pledge. You are either in-state hanging with the exact same girls as your high school or out of state, trying to figure out your place. It’s cliquey and rush isn’t a reality. Then you realize that this isn’t the place if you want to concentrate on your personal growth, grades, sisterhood, participate in Greek events (they don’t participate in HC events, Greek week, derby, etc). But, if you want to party a lot and live with the same old people in a giant clique, it is the place for you. Rush is always a better version of every sorority, but most are not this much of an illusion. Watch the way that KD treats the “have nots” when you are sitting in the house during rush. That will tell you a lot about reality. This is not a happy, kind, cohesive, supportive house.
