Does your “top 20” school not teach punctuation? Your posts/rants are difficult to read. The questions you asked have been answered quite well. Yes, grades are important but not every girl in every house is going to have a 4.0. There are lots of textbook pretty girls, but not all houses are so superficial to only take “hot” girls. Recs are required by Nationals or chapter advisors. The active members have nothing to do with this. Your assumptions about Greek life are way off. Greek life at Alabama beats any other campus around the country. RTR
