I went through recruitment OOS with no insta at all and am in a house that gets ranked as a top OR house here a lot, and I'm loving it. Insta isn't as big a deal as people like to make it and if you stand out on your own it won't even matter. I do agree that if you DO have one, keep it clean though. P.S. I still don't have an insta and no one cares.
