I'm a WOC and can confirm it hurts during rush knowing there could be houses that might not accept you because of your race, something you have zero control over. Not something white people have to think about, but trust me it sucks. As much as APhi gets criticized (and yes there are issues with the house as a whole), I was more comfortable there than Kappa just knowing they've at least attempted to become more diverse and have a few POC. Was nice to know that if I got dropped it wouldn't necessarily be because of my skin color lol
