I made the the mistake of convincing my parents to let me get an apartment my freshman year (!) because i had anxiety about needing my own space/bathroom, etc. Big Huge Mistake. I missed out of so much fun in dorms freshmen year. Bonding with girls not in my pledge class, etc. So i after freshman I moved into the house. I absolutely loved it. its 4 years of an experience you will never ever have again. You can always live by yourself after your graduate. And what other poster said about having a car definitely helped!
