Also an only child here, extremely introverted and NEED alone time. I get horrible anxiety and literally will start shaking if I'm around people for too long. I braved it and lived in for a year and actually ended up loving it. I did it by: 1. Being extremely appreciative of the unique opportunity and knowing it wouldn't last forever. Everyday I was very grateful for the beautiful house and getting to live in a situation that many people are curious about but never do. 2. HAVE A CAR. This SAVED me. It gave me a guaranteed place to have where I could be alone for a minute. I'd go out to my car and facetime my mom or a friend from my hometown, watch YouTube, listen to music, etc. Basically the stuff I'd normally do in my room, but it helped my social anxiety so much just knowing that I'd always have SOMEWHERE where I could go if the house was too much.
