i think freshmen really overestimate how much actives want to be involved in rush… of course every sorority wants a good pledge class and is excited for a new PC but older girls have their own lives and internships and don’t usually have time for it anymore. a lot of them leave it up to the facey or intense Exec types, and the sophomores to run the show. Also some sororities do make it way harder for u to get excuses for recruitment (earlier deadlines for excuses and job schedules… Like how am i gonna give u my schedule 3 months in advance when i only know it the week of…) and others make it pretty easy but she probs just got an Excuse and doesn’t have to do work week or rush. she could still be there for bid day maybe. the pan del is also not usually that involved in recruitment so they don’t rly need her
