It’s been said before but worth noting again…. If you are from a “local area” and are known by groups of girls in certain houses (like from HS, church, etc), then not getting a bid to a certain house (mostly old row) may feel like being “shunned”. Other than that - all houses have similar physical properties, social activities, etc. None are “bad”. Yea, there are some trends that differentiate the types of girls in each house. but with about 400 girls in a house and 130 in a pledge class, those stereotypes hardly describe everyone in the house. These “types” and trends are pretty exaggerated here on GR. In the broader world - sorority girls at Bama (no matter the house) are more similar than “different”! Despite what people suggest about cross rushing - lots of girls have “very different” houses at pref - proof the differences aren’t that great between house. It’s about you and the group of friends you will make and activities you pursue.
