The reality is the majority of universities have 1 or 2 sororities that are the bottom houses, and will take pretty much anyone who breathes to get to campus total. This creates a kind of weird mix of girls, and these houses just genuinely aren't very strong. This is NOT the case at Alabama. Every panhellenic house is selective in some areas. Even SK, a house that is new and trying to grow, will not take girls who don't care about school, are rude, etc. That means that there really aren't weak or bottom houses. Alabama's bottom houses would easily be middle tier anywhere else.
