lol that sounds awful and i would hate that. i was relieved when i found out how we voted bc that way we can get the whole chapter’s input. i will say tho that it sounds way more democratic then it is. after round 1, we have significantly less of our actives rushing (basically only our best rushers) and actives who don’t rush will send excuses or have to do something else to help out w recruitment (filling up water cups, decorating, etc etc), and the rule is that you have to participate in recruitment that day to join in on voting. bc of this, gradually less and less girls see the final lists after round 1. i want to say the girls present for voting for round 2 is more like a third of the girls present for the night before. kinda sucks bc i can make sure i get my girls to round 2 if need be but after that i don’t even see the list of who comes back
