I know MANY girls who had this same experience, you just only see rush success stories because people don’t openly talk about their disappointments. It’s totally common and reflects that rush is not a perfect system. If it makes you feel better, I know in my house we never invite girls to pref who we don’t genuinely adore and think will fit in. It’s just that after pref it’s simply about numbers. Chances are your first houses would have been happy to have you, it just logistically didn’t work out.
