i agree with you BUT, some chapters don’t have to cob. they don’t have girls drop at higher rates or have enough girls graduating to warrant COBing. obviously every house has their own dirt and reasons for girls dropping but if a house has enough girls dropping (both new members and older actives) that they have to COB every semester, i can promise you that there’s stuff going behind the scenes that girls don’t like. i will also say that some houses attract girls who DON’T wanna be in a sorority their whole college experience. laidback girls who don’t like rules (for example, like aphi) probably aren’t going to want to stay in an organization that controls them after they’ve already made friends/have a social life after freshman/soph year. other chapters do a spectacular job at retaining their girls and esp upperclassmen tho.
