The workout hours are under “health” hours. That can include a weekly sisterhood yoga hour in the basement, going to the rec center with sisters, trail walking, etc. I know of houses allowing trading study hours for workout hours. I graduated recently, so it might not be the case anymore at GPhi, but it once was. I know ( as of 2 years ago) ZTA had a 2/3 rule and workout hours. I know DG fined their members drastically if they didn’t participate in contest weeks or give valid excuses WELL in advance. I know ADPi had to have every clothing item checked by membership prior to recruitment week ( like, don’t take off tags because they might need to be returned). There are many houses that have color themes for recruitment. That’s different. These were actual full checks. Most houses have Instagram rules ( no selfies, no sleezy clothes pics, no drinks in pic if underage, no suggestive poses or captions). You can guess the ones that don’t. Many girls are totally fine working within their houses rules. The ones that aren’t probably went to the wrong house.
