@Yuh This is so right it's funny! My best friend is an AKA, her mom was an AKA, her grandma was an AKA, and I swear it goes on. Both of them are still active in Alumni and proudly wear their colors and letters. My friend grew up wanting to be AKA and pretty much knew that if she didn't get accepted by them, she wasn't gonna be greek because there was no other option for her. My mom is a sorority alumnae too, but when I called her during recruitment and told her that I fell in love with a house that wasn't hers, she couldn't have cared less and wished me luck. Yes, I know some Panhellenic alumni can be that dedicated too, but over all I don't think it's that hardcore Historically black sororities have smaller numbers over all but they make up for it in dedication.
