The physical house has nothing to do with how good a sisterhood is or how popular they are on campus. And honestly, a lot of people think the PM house is tacky. It’s very nouveau riche, you have to admit that. Kappa’s house looks way classier than Phi Mu’s and it really shows with them being neighbors. I feel like Phi Mu’s prime was probably in the 90s and early 2000s when the whole “mean girl” thing and “excess” were popular. PNMs now are looking for something authentic and not fake, both in the physical house and in the sisterhood. Phi Mu just doesn’t have that.
