So you are saying that a girl from CA wants a house in AL because it's top in her hometown? That's the dumbest way ever to pick a house at the school you actually attend. Everyone knows where their houses are bottom, and it's not like she will fool anyone in her hometown into thinking she pledged a top chapter. If a girl pledges an easier to join or less selective house here and then transfers to that school in her state where it is top, they know. Just like that girl in CA who forms her opinion of what house is top based on where top pnms from her hometown and high school pledge, girls from B'ham also know who pledges what house, top and bottom. The difference is that they wouldn't assume those houses are top in CA just because they are top at Bama, especially since they wouldn't know tons of girls in CA who have gone thru rush before them.
