If AGD or DDD had pledged a black woman, it would have opened the doors for the "lower tier" groups to be OK with pledging black women. In reality, the wouldn't have done it...yet. One person in one chapter....but if another top group takes one...even next year...everyone would relax and the gates would open...for the few who care.
