I know recruitment seems insane, but the system has been tried and tested, reviewed and refined, for a long time. It's designed to work -- yeah, there are flaws and it doesn't always work, but most of the time it does and PNMs get the chance to end up in a great place for them. Problem is that some of them think they should've ended up somewhere else and don't give the house that wants them a chance. I know there were a lot of really bad cuts going into skit and many pnms were upset. Those with nice, full schedules were the exception. Most people had much fewer invites, so don't be freaked out. Sure, it hurts to lose houses you really love and think you connected with, so some drop. But good luck to those who have decided to stick things out and see this through. Go into pref with an open mind and heart and give a chance to these members who really see something in you. I hope your pref schedules are what you're wishing for, and that you find yourself happy and celebrating on Bid Day!
