As a member of a sorority at Alabama, I want to apologize for some of the rude responses to your post. I doubt these people even attend UA since most students here are helpful and friendly. I'm sure you are aware of this from any campus tours you may have taken. But you will find a house you like, you just need to be very proactive and start contacting rush chairs immediately. On UA IFC's website all this info is provided. And I agree with the above comment that you should read the post Rushing Fraternities by Roll Tide. There are some good responses. And just a helpful suggestion: at many southern schools, especially UA, its kinda rude and somewhat taboo to say "frats". Just say fraternities instead and you will be fine.
