This is truly the best thing I've ever read on GR. The only girls I know that were unhappy about recruitment were the ones that went in wanting someone else's list of houses. The ones that picked for themselves ended up in houses they were happy with. The ones that wanted houses because other people had recommended them (including GR) were unhappy or dropped. It's miserable to be in a sea of this many PNMs and realize that your one and only favorite house didn't put you high enough to get an invite. If you can just trust the process and pick a new favorite if you need to each day, you'll be happy on bid day and beyond
