This is the most important thing you'll ever read about recruitment. Each house has lots of amazing girls. Just because no girls from your small hometown or you hoity toity high school has ever pledged a certain house doesn't mean they're below you. They may have girls who are debutantes in NYC or in the film industry in LA. Or maybe just the nicest set of girls you'll ever meet. Believe me, girls that drop out regret it and like one of the comments above said, girls that kinda social climb to get into a house are miserable. Go where you're comfortable and forget about ranks. They're only on greek rank.
