Most houses want a 3.3 or higher. Some have a hard cut off at that GPA, some have a hard cut off at a lower one. My suggestion is to try to get up to a 3.3 GPA by the end of your year. Panhellenic uses your final transcript to check your GPA. Also, take a summer course or two at your community college, if you can. Those classes can count toward your GE classes and if you do well (3.3 or higher), that will serve you well for recruitment. We will see those college credits on your transcript, too, as long as those classes are submitted by Aug. 1. Good luck. Start getting recs.
