If she rushes, she runs the chance of not getting a bid. So does the girl with a 4.0. Nobody can say for sure. If she rushes and doesn't get a bid, she has still met a ton of people, make good friends in her rush group, gotten a good look inside those mysterious sorority houses, learned something new about sororities and how rush works, learned something about herself. been forced to make small talk with people she doesn't know (which she will have to do her whole life), moved in a week early and gotten started early on her college life. And she might find her best friends for life. If she doesn't rush, it's guaranteed she will not get a bid. I say...go for it!
