Part of the legacy issue is that all OR, but KD, DDD and KKG especially, have been strong here for a very long time and have a ton of chapter legacies coming through every year. And the alums push hard for us to take them. A lot of these legacies are really great girls and their moms are part of what made the chapters strong in the first place and built these beautiful houses for us. Not all legacies are going to be a good match, but if they would fit in, it makes sense to take them if we can. But too many legacies and we don't have enough room for the other great PNMs we would like to take. And that's before we even get to the non-chapter legacies, who also deserve an extra look. So it's a balancing act. PM (and kinda AXO) haven't been as strong for as long, and are not as strong nationally, so they don't have as many legacies coming through and have more room for unknown PNMs.
