So I keep reading on sites that along with hair, make up, clothes, and all of that stuff, you need to have a tan. How serious and important is that? I'm a ginger, and tanning isn't actually possible for me (think Nicole Kidman coloring). I can't tan in the sun. I just burn and freckle. Same with a tanning bed. I could use a chemical tan, but because of my coloring, it comes across as fake and silly looking. Is a tan a real deal breaker? I plan to embrace my pale and I feel confident I won't be the only person not tan, but I keep reading this, and it freaks me out.
