Predominately out of state, NOT predominately out of region. The majority of students are still from the south. The only non southern state that’s a top 5 feeder to UA is California. Anyways, there’s not a single house here that is predominately Alabama girls. A little over 600 in state girls rushed last year. There are 7 old row sororities, and some of those girls went new row. That doesn’t leave enough girls for even half of every old row pledge class to be in state. The fact is kappa, axo, ddd, kd, phi mu all want the best OOS and oor girls. Your post may have been accurate in 2010 but not anymore.
