Who says you have to branch out in college though? That’s completely arbitrary. Some people want to stay close to home for school, and so they have friends who are already around— some people may find new friend groups but I don’t think it’s so far fetched to think most will keep their HS friends. I’m OOS myself and I’ve never understood the criticism of alabama students. We’re coming to their home. If they want to hang out with other kids from alabama at the university of alabama, cool. They already went to their state school, they’re not trying to mislead anyone about their intentions lol
