Kinda depends on the year. When I was a freshman almost none of the seniors in my sorority were engaged because not many of them were still in long-term relationships. But a LOT - maybe 20% - of the seniors my sophomore year were either engaged or planning to be engaged shortly after grad (usually waiting for their SO to have more money before buying the ring or whatever). I agree that it's super young (and expensive let's be real!!!) but to each their own.
