In high school it's ok to dress up, I mean you're there from 8AM till 3PM. In college some times you get out of bed just for one class. Are you really going to put in that kind of effort to get ready for one class? Also in college, 99% of the people you walk past will not know anything about you, nor will they care. It's not like high school "oh did you see what Cindy was wearing". College is like visiting a Wal-Mart in a completely different town your grandma lives in...Are you really going to get dressed for that? Also it's not about fitting in, it's more about excluding yourself. Think of it like wearing a suit to the beach. Just go with the flow girl.
