We don’t have them anymore because we have full kitchen staffs— at UGA and (i think) ole miss they still have one main chef, a few kitchen staff, and the houseboys help up with the rest like dishwashing and other cleaning up. My sorority actually tried to get houseboys to help with weekend stuff but there are so many employment forms and background checks that it wasn’t worth it. And a lot of sororities still have formal dinner where food is served plated with tablecloths and everything, mine does a few times a month. It’s fun. At UGA where meals are only for house girls I’m pretty sure they do it every night.
